Company Logo Critique

Not only is this my favorite game developer, I’ve always loved their logo. The font is to the point, and in my opinion represents their professionalism. They left all the personality of the logo in the paw print. Nothing about this is over bearing or over done. It’s clean and has always given me a positive image about the company.

I remember as a child being excited to go celebrate a friends birthday party here, but the company has been struggling lately. Even though their struggles haven't being based from their logo, this doesn’t dismiss the problems I have with it. The mouse himself looks outdated. Colors could improve the logo, but it still looks plain. The outdated look is a metaphor for the company, who’s hay day was during the 1990’s.
Lays’ logo is also simple, but is still professional. The color scheme is appealing. My favorite part of the logo is the red ribbon rapped around the yellow circle. It gives it a warm feeling.

This logo is plain, but it gets to the point. They let their products do the talking. I know when I see Sony’s logo, I associate professionalism and amazing entertainment systems. The best part of this picture is the “make.believe”. If they added a different color scheme, it could add the excitement it needs.

Sprite’s logo is pretty complex. They have the font backed by an explosion of their soda, which immediately I associated with “refreshing”. The lemon lime above the Sprite font is perfect. It’s the same thing that Naughty Dog did, giving all the personality to one subject in the logo. I like their logo, even though it is complicated.
